The National Work Placement Exhibition : 27 October 2011, NEC, Birmingham

Exhibiting at the National Work Placement Exhibition provides recruiters with a cost-effective solution that puts them face-to-face with high quality students and graduates actively looking to enhance their skills and improve their career prospects, through:

  • Work experience
  • Internships
  • A year in industry
  • Summer placements
  • Voluntary work
  • Gap year work

Now in its seventh year, the exhibition regularly attracts high numbers of relevant talent through a national marketing campaign, focusing on the UK’s top 50 universities – in particular those offering sandwich placements or years abroad as part of their degrees. The marketing campaign includes:

  • On-campus promotion such as posters, on campus promotional gifts and screensavers.
  • Email promotion to our database of over 15,000 subscribers – all of whom have opted in to receive information about work placements.
  • Telemarketing campaign; 1,400 work placement officers, careers services and university departments are encouraged to advertise the exhibition via posters, emails and their intranets.
  • Online advertising; banners and buttons are placed on specific work placement associations’ and partners’ websites.
  • Newspapers and magazines.

A host of features are incorporated within the exhibition – including subsidized transport, a CV clinic and free company and career presentations. These presentations are an opportunity to present your companies’ placement opportunities to an audience of quality talent.

Exhibiting at the National Work Placement Exhibition saves time, cost and the inconvenience of travelling to various universities, providing access to thousands of well-prepared students looking specifically for work placements.

This year’s National Work Placement Exhibition will take place on Thursday 27 October at the NEC in Birmingham.
